WUFT’s 2018 Legislative Tracker

Ten legislators, more than 200 bills.
Local funding requests topping $250 million.
Sixty days to discuss and vote on potential laws and appropriations.
The 2018 Florida legislative session ran from Jan. 9 to March 9, 2018, and WUFT tracked the work of each of north central Florida’s legislators right here. The listing below includes only those 200-plus bills and appropriations projects that a representative or senator has introduced — not those of which they are co-sponsors or co-introducers.
Before the lists, it’s helpful to review the Florida Senate’s guide on how a bill becomes a law.
